Help to translate Empty
PostSubject: Help to translate   Help to translate EmptyThu Jan 05, 2017 2:28 pm

I am helping someone with a tattoo design, they want to have a runic phrase saying:

"Not all those who wander are lost"

I have told them, unlike most people who translate a phrase letter for letter to elder futhark, they would be much better getting it translated to old norse, then phonetically into younger futhark, as if your going to make viking runes, you may aswell make it as viking as possible and as accurate as possible.

i wondered if anyone could help me translate this correctly into old norse to begin with? i thought this might be better than my own attempt using a old norse dictionary.

any help much appreciate Smile

Cheers!
