Kenning-term for "sword"? Empty
PostSubject: Kenning-term for "sword"?   Kenning-term for "sword"? EmptyTue Aug 23, 2011 8:48 pm

Hello all,

I have a friend who's a writer; he recently bought a replica Viking broadsword. He wants to give it a name in Old Norse: "Writer of Endings" (or, "Endingswriter".) Can anyone help me figure out how to say that correctly in the old language?

cheers,
Freya (my real name ;-) )

Heil Freya!

That's fantastic. Show us a picture if you can. We're huge fans of the blade. Smile
