Kenning-term for "sword"?

Hello all,

I have a friend who's a writer; he recently bought a replica Viking broadsword. He wants to give it a name in Old Norse: "Writer of Endings" (or, "Endingswriter".) Can anyone help me figure out how to say that correctly in the old language?
