I suggest that we make a list of grammar reference books

Стеблин-Каменский. Древнеисландский язык.
A comprehensive grammar reference in Russian. It can be googled for.

A. Heusler. Altisländisches Elementarbuch (archive)

A. Noreen. Altisländische und altnorwegische Grammatik (archive)
Phonetics, morphology

M. Nygaard. Norrøn syntax (archive)
For those lucky ones who understand Danish.

R. Rask. A grammar of the Icelandic or Old Norse tongue
An elementary grammar of the Old Norse or Icelandic language George Bayldon
These can be found at Google Books and seem to be outdated

I wonder which grammar book are currently in use among those who learn Old Norse.

I’m disappointed at finding nothing as comprehensive and detailed as grammars of classical languages.

uhm... as far as I know I have this "magic sheet" with the very basics of the language ( h t t p :// www . alarichall . org . uk / teaching / Alaric%27s%20magic%20sheet . pdf )

and this series of books too ( h t t p : // vsnrweb-publications . org . uk / ): towards the middle of the page there is a section named 'A NEW INTRODUCTION TO OLD NORSE' with 4 complete books free to download!!! an introduction, a grammar, a reader (with examples from sagas) and a glossary!!!

Hugna tær!!
